Vision: To see every African child aged 0-36 months receive high quality care and stimulation in their most critical stage of development—laying the foundation for lifelong learning, literacy and wellbeing.
Mission: Transform early childhood care across Africa by:
Training caregivers in playful, literacy-rich and responsive techniques.
Creating safe, nurturing and stimulating environments for children from birth to 36 months
Engaging families and communities in every child's learning journey
Conducting impactful research to shape practice and policy, so that every child receives the quality care they need to thrive in their most critical years.
Core Values:
The child comes first
We do what is best for the child– we care about their safety, happiness and growth.
Caregivers matter
Caregivers are important. We support and train them to give the best care and learning to children.
Play is powerful
We believe children learn best through play. It helps them think, talk and feel good about themselves.
Use what we have
We use local materials and simple ideas to teach children in smart and creative ways. A child's first lessons, their most important and fundamental lessons, come from their family and home environment.
Learn and improve
We check what works through research, listen to feedback and keep making things better for children.
Every child deserves a chance
We work to make sure all children–rich or poor, in towns or villages –get good care and learning.
Family and community help children grow
We work with parents and the community to raise strong, happy and curious children together.
Founded in 2023 by Steven Bhardwaj, Everything Is Learning (EL) is transforming Early Childhood Care and Literacy (ECCL) in the world.
Currently EL mainly partners with daycare centers in Africa, providing affordable daycare for children starting as early as age 3 months, while making sure to provide a high-quality nurturing environment that supports holistic development. Headquartered in Nairobi, Kenya, with a parent company registered in the USA, EL keeps its focus on serving low-income communities, while also expanding in a balanced way to higher-revenue markets.
